Kingston Borough Business Awards 2025 – Winners!

We’re absolutely delighted to share that European Engineering Consultancy Ltd. (EECL) has won the Growing Reputation Award at this year’s Kingston Borough Business Awards (KBBA) and to top it off, we were also Highly Commended in the Technology Impact Award category!

At EECL, we’ve always been passionate about pushing the boundaries of RF and microwave engineering. Whether it’s developing test systems for space missions or creating scalable solutions for next-gen IoT technologies, our mission has been to deliver innovative, accessible, and high-impact tools for engineers around the world.

Winning the Growing Reputation Award is a huge honour—it reflects the momentum we’ve built over the past year as we’ve grown our presence globally, especially with our expansion into the North American market.

The KBBA celebrates the brilliant businesses and people making a difference in our local community, and we’re so proud to be among them.

We’re grateful for the recognition—and more motivated than ever to keep building technology that moves the world forward.

EECL Delivers Flight Hardware to SSTL for Amazon Monitoring

EECL are delighted to share the news that we have signed a contract with Surrey Satellite Technology Limited (SSTL) to supply high performance RF & Microwave hardware to the Amazonia-1B Space Mission.

The data collected by the Amazonia-1B mission will be crucial in the fight against climate change, offering insights that can inform policy decisions, conservation strategies, and global climate models. Through the innovative use of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Reflectometry, the Amazonia-1B mission will accurately map the biomass and soil moisture content of this vast rainforest. Such detailed mapping is essential for monitoring the health and changes in the rainforest, providing critical data for environmental research and conservation efforts.

As part of our contribution to this exciting mission, EECL are tasked with delivering three state-of-the-art payload modules within the next 6 months fully tested and qualified.
