The module is a high-performance DC to 24 GHz Receiver Front End designed for demanding applications in satellite communications (SatCom), aerospace, terrestrial, military, and advanced RF systems. It offers industry-leading low noise performance, ensuring superior signal clarity across the entire frequency range — even in environments with high interference.
Equipped with a highly selective input pre-filtering stage, the front end delivers exceptional out-of-band signal rejection, effectively minimizing spurious responses and improving dynamic range. With a typical noise figure as low as 1.0 dB and excellent input return loss, this receiver front end ensures high sensitivity and stable operation in both narrowband and wideband systems.
The design incorporates robust gain control and temperature compensation for consistent 60 dB gain flatness, better than 0.4 dB across any 100 MHz bandwidth. Radiation-hardened components and total latch-up protection provide enhanced reliability for spaceborne and mission-critical deployments.
Its rugged, compact housing features SMA connectors for both input and output, with flexible power options — including phantom powering or a dedicated power input via SMA. The integrated ultra-low-noise DC-DC converter ensures minimal power ripple, while total system consumption remains under 3.2 W.
